Onyx Coffee Advent Calendar - I'm a huge fan of onyx and order from them often, despite the high prices and things like the recent change to smaller packages while raising the price. Looking at the list of coffees in the calendar, i have had coffees from day 2, 3, 15 & 16 from this season. Onyx advent calendar thoughts i really feel like scrooge posting this on christmas, but i'm just sitting here with my thoughts and thought someone might appreciate them and/or feel less crazy that they weren't impressed on the $175+ they spent for 48 oz of coffee. Each day comes with a 2oz bag, so it's perfect for a nice big cup for my wife and i. I’ve got a lot of xmas coffee — have several really good looking geshas offered by separate roasters — but only did one actual advent calendar, the one from coffee collective. Hey not sure if this is too late, but onyx has all of the tasting notes in the description of their youtube video about the advent calendar here.
Compare this to, say, $22 for a 12oz bag, which comes out to $1.83/oz of coffee. In terms of $/oz, it's a terrible value. El salvador santa rosa honey.
